Terms and Conditions for Japandi Collection Sweden AB 

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made at Japandi Collection Sweden AB and describe the conditions for purchasing our products. By shopping with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

Summary 

  • Free shipping within Sweden. Shipping costs for other countries are shown at checkout. 
  • 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act. 
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs when exercising the right of withdrawal. 
  • All items must be returned in their original packaging and undamaged. 
  • We handle complaints in accordance with the  Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59) (DAL)

  1. Prices and Payment

All prices listed on our website are in SEK and include VAT at 25%, in accordance with applicable regulations. To shop with us, you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid ID for parcel deliveries. If you are under 18, you will need the consent of your guardian to make a purchase. 

We offer the following secure payment methods:

PayPal 

By placing an order, you agree to pay for the order. Payment is processed when the order is placed, and once the order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. If you have not received an order confirmation, please contact info@japandihome.com. 

  1. Shipping

We offer free shipping within Sweden. For deliveries outside Sweden, the total shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase. Delivery is usually made within 10 days in Sweden and 12 days outside Sweden after the order is confirmed. 

For furniture and larger home decor items, longer delivery times may apply, which will be communicated in the product description. We work with reliable shipping companies to ensure your products are delivered safely and on time. 

As a customer, you are responsible for being available to receive your delivery or picking up the package in a timely manner. If you are unavailable to receive the delivery or fail to pick up your package from the collection point and it is returned to us, you will be charged for the costs associated with return shipping and the handling of the unclaimed package. The price is based on our actual return and handling costs. 

Please note that an unclaimed package does not count as exercising your right of withdrawal under the  Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59) (DAL) To cancel your purchase, you must first pick up the package and then follow our return and withdrawal procedures. 

  1. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Under the Swedish  Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59) (DAL), you as a customer have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the date you received your item. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us via email at info@japandihome.com before the withdrawal period expires. You can use the Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard withdrawal form, which you can find -here- 

Conditions for Returns: 

The product must be in unused and undamaged condition. 

The product must be returned in its original packaging. 

You as a customer are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping to our warehouse. The return address will be sent to your email once we approve your return request, as we have different warehouses depending on the product you wish to return. 

We will refund the product’s price within 14 days of receiving the item and confirming that it is in original condition. 

Please note that an unclaimed package does not count as exercising your right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act. To cancel your purchase, you must first pick up the package and then follow our return and withdrawal procedures. 

Certain products are exempt from the right of withdrawal, such as custom-made furniture or personalized items, in accordance with the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59) (DAL)

  1. Complaints

We follow the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (1990:932) when handling complaints. If a product is defective or damaged upon delivery, please contact us as soon as possible (within 48 hours of receipt) via email at info@japandihome.com with a description of the defect and images of the product and packaging. Visible shipping damage should also be reported directly to the carrier. 

You have the right to complain about a product within three years from the delivery date if the product was faulty at the time of delivery. If your complaint is approved, we will reimburse you for any shipping costs and either send a new product, offer a price reduction, or refund the product if the original item cannot be repaired or replaced. 

  1. Delivery Delays

If the delivery is delayed and we cannot meet the agreed delivery time, we will inform you as soon as possible. You have the right to cancel the purchase if the delivery is significantly delayed unless otherwise agreed. 

  1. Processing of Personal Data

We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is only used to manage your order and communicate with you as a customer. Read more about how we handle your personal data in our Privacy Policy (Link to privacy policy). 

  1. Dispute Resolution

We always aim to resolve any issues directly with you as a customer. If a dispute cannot be resolved through our customer service, you as a consumer can contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) for a review. ARN’s decision is a recommendation on how the dispute should be resolved, and we follow ARN’s recommendations.

Any final dispute will be settled in Swedish court.

 9. Force Majeure / Contracts to describe events beyond a party's control.  

Japandi AB shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations hereunder where such delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, war, terrorism, epidemics, strikes or other similar events beyond our reasonable control.

Hur länge har jag rätt att ångra mig?

Som konsument har du alltid 14 dagars ångerrätt. Ångerfristen börjar löpa dagen efter att du eller ett ombud har tagit emot möbeln. Du har även rätt att ångra ditt köp innan möbeln har levererats. Observera att ångerrätten inte gäller för specialbeställda möbler som tillverkats unikt efter dina specifika önskemål (t.ex. val av eget tyg eller unika mått).

Vad händer om möbeln redan har lämnat lagret?

Om din möbel har lämnat vårt lager kan transporten inte stoppas. Du kan välja att ta emot leveransen och skicka tillbaka den, eller neka att ta emot möbeln vid leveranstillfället. Observera att du som kund står för returfrakten även om du väljer att neka leveransen. Du måste registrera att du ångrar dig via vår ångerknapp innan leveransen nekas, annars hanteras sändningen som en outlöst leverans. Kostnaden för returfrakten dras av från din återbetalning.

Vem betalar för returfrakten?

Vid utnyttjande av ångerrätten är det alltid du som kund som står för returfrakten. Detta gäller även om du nekar leveransen vid dörren eller inte hämtar ut paketet. Eftersom möbler är tunga och skrymmande kan de inte skickas med vanliga returlappar.

  • Mindre paket inredning (paket): Ca 150–300 kr
  • Större möbler (pall/hemleverans): Ca Fyll i t.ex. 800– 4000 kr beroende på storlek och adress. Notera att detta är uppskattningar och rätt leveranskostnad kan vår kundservice ange baserat på vikt och mått.

Vilket skick måste möbeln vara i vid en retur?

För att få full återbetalning ska möbeln returneras i oanvänt nyskick och i sin originalförpackning. Du har rätt att försiktigt undersöka varan, men om möbeln har monterats eller använts, eller om originalemballaget saknas, har vi rätt att göra ett värdeminskningsavdrag på återbetalningen.

När får jag mina pengar tillbaka?

Vi återbetalar ordersumman normalt inom 14 dagar efter att du har meddelat att du ångrat ditt köp. Enligt lag har vi rätt att hålla inne återbetalningen tills möbeln har anlänt till vårt lager för mottagning och granskning.
