Terms of purchase for Japandi AB
These terms of purchase apply to purchases at Japandi AB By shopping with us, you agree to these terms of purchase.
Summary of the terms
- Free shipping within Sweden. The shipping cost for other countries is shown at checkout.
- 14 days right of withdrawal according to the Distance Contracts Act.
- The customer is responsible for return costs in case of withdrawal.
- Any return or exchange must be returned in original packaging and without damage.

2. prices and payment
All prices listed on our website are in SEK and include VAT 25% according to current regulations. To shop with us, you must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid ID document for parcel shipments. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of your legal guardian for your purchase.
We offer the following secure payment methods via Shop Pay:
- Card payment (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
- Qliro (Pay Direct, Invoice, Partial Payment, Trustly, Swish)
- Paypal
When you place an order, you agree that you are liable to pay for the order. The payment is processed when the order is placed and after the order is placed you will immediately receive an order confirmation via email. If you have not received an order confirmation, please contact info@japandihome.com.
3. delivery
We offer free shipping within Sweden. For deliveries outside Sweden, the total shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase. Delivery normally takes place within 5-10 working days after the order has been confirmed.
For furniture and larger interior items, longer delivery times may occur and any longer shipping times are communicated in the product description. We work with reliable shipping companies to ensure that your products are delivered safely and on time.
You as a customer are responsible for being available to receive your delivery or to collect the goods on time. If you are not available for delivery or collect your package from the agent and it is returned to us, you will be charged for the costs incurred in connection with the return freight and the handling of the undelivered package. The price is based on our actual return and handling costs.
Please note that an undelivered package is not considered to be an exercise of your right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act. To cancel your purchase, you must first collect the package and then follow our return and withdrawal procedures.
4. right of withdrawal and returns
According to the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) you as a customer have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by e-mail at info@japandihome.com before the withdrawal period expires. Alternatively, you can also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form for right of withdrawal, which you can find here: Link to the standard form from the Swedish Consumer Agency.
Conditions for returns:
- The product must be in undamaged and unused condition.
- The product must be returned in the original packaging.
- You as a customer are responsible for arranging for the shipment to be packed safely in original packaging and paying the return shipping to our warehouse. The return address will be sent to your email address as soon as we approve your return request, as we have different warehouses based on the product you wish to return.
- We will refund the price of the product within 14 days of receiving the item and confirming that it is in original condition.
- You as a customer are responsible for returning the product to us, which is why we always recommend that you send the product with a tracking number.
Please note that an unredeemed package is not considered that you have exercised your right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act. To cancel your purchase, you must first collect the package and then follow our procedures for returns and withdrawal.
Please note that some products are excluded from the right of withdrawal, such as custom-made furniture or personalized adaptations, in accordance with Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59).
5. complaints
We comply with The Consumer Purchase Act (1990:932) when making complaints. If an item is faulty or damaged on delivery, please contact us as soon as possible (maximum 48 hours after receipt) by e-mail at info@japandihome.com with a description of the error and pictures of the product and packaging. In case of visible shipping damage, this should also be reported directly to the carrier.
We follow the Consumer Purchase Act's provisions for complaints, which give you the right to complain about a product up to three years from the date of purchase, provided that the defect existed at the time of delivery. In the event of an approved complaint, we will pay any shipping costs and offer, depending on the circumstances, either a replacement product, a price reduction, or a refund if the product cannot be repaired or replaced. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. Please note that the right of complaint does not cover normal wear and tear.
6. delays in delivery
If the delivery is delayed and we cannot keep the agreed delivery time, we will notify you as soon as possible. You have the right to cancel the purchase if the delivery is significantly delayed unless otherwise agreed.
7. processing of personal data

8. dispute resolution
We always aim to resolve any issues directly with you as a customer. If a dispute cannot be resolved through our customer service, you as a consumer can turn to the General Complaints Board (ARN) to have the case reviewed. ARN's decision is a recommendation to the parties on how the dispute should be resolved and we follow ARN's recommendations.

Any final dispute will be settled in a Swedish court.

9 Force Majeure
Japandi AB is not responsible for delays or errors caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes or other similar events that we cannot reasonably influence.
These terms and conditions of purchase are effective from 1 Sep 2024. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions if necessary.
